The Major Case Squad identified the victim of a murder in Jennings as Darvin Lewis, 30, who was found shot to death about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the kitchen of his home in the 5400 block of Hamilton Avenue.
Florissant Lt. Sean Fagan, supervisor of the major case unit, said Thursday,
"We're working some strong leads." Fagan said detectives did not believe the case involved robbery.
6:20 a.m. Thursday update: The Major Case Squad has identified the victim of a murder in Jennings as Darvin Lewis, 30, who was found shot to death yesterday in the kitchen of his home in the 5400 block of Hamilton Avenue.
Lewis' body was found about 6:30 p.m. yesterday. Florissant Lt. Sean Fagan, supervisor of the major case unit, said this morning, "We're working some strong leads."
Fagan said detectives did not believe the case involved robbery. Jennings police said family members found the body of Lewis, who was last seen alive about an hour before the murder was discovered. Last night, the Jennings Police Department asked the Major Case Squad, a organization of area police departments, to provide detectives to investigate the case.
